Imperial London Hotels — City Lifestyle

Commissioned by Imperial London Hotels, one of London’s largest independent hotel groups, this project set out to build a premium library of authentic London lifestyle imagery — replacing generic stock photography with a visual identity that feels genuinely local, editorial and seasonally relevant.

Shot over two and a half days across four of London’s most iconic neighbourhoods — Southbank, Bloomsbury, Soho and Regents Park — the brief was to capture the city through the lens of a guest experience. From morning walks along the Thames and lazy afternoons browsing independent bookshops, to evening cocktails in Soho and golden hour in the park, the imagery bridges the gap between the hotel stay and the wider London adventure.

It was a dream of a brief — to go out and create stunning imagery across some of the best areas of London, shooting with a street photography eye. I sourced two models per location who feature throughout the images, not as the focal point, but as a human element that brings warmth and a sense of life to each scene.

The shoot was designed to feel editorial, cinematic and candid — a recognisable visual universe of London that works across website banners, social campaigns, brand decks and guest welcome materials. With seven hotels spanning Bloomsbury, Imperial London Hotels caters to everyone from business travellers and young explorers to families, and this library gives them the storytelling assets to connect with each audience authentically.
